
Start at Boulder Creek Camp
Ground and travel 14.5 miles to the take out at Gravel Bin. Numerous Class II - III rapids.
The Pinball section can be Class IV at high flows. The cost
for this trip or any other 4 to 5 hour trip is $125/person with a riverside
lunch.
Start at Horseshoe Bend Camp
Ground and travel 7.5 miles to the take out at Gravel Bin. This trip also
includes Numerous Class II - III rapids and Pinball. The cost for this trip or any other 2 to
3 hour trip is $105/person.
OTHER TRIP OPTIONS:
Start at the Gravel Bin and
travel 11.1 miles to the Susan Creek take out. This run is only available
until mid-July. It includes the Steamboat section, and Class III+ rapids
at Wright Creek, Bath Tub, Island and the Ledges. This is a 4 to 5 hour
trip.
Start at Bogus Camp Ground and travel 6 miles to the take out at the Susan Creek picnic area. This trip also includes the Class III+ rapids at Wright Creek, Bath Tub, Island and the Ledges. This is a 2 to 3 hour trip.

been guiding on the North Umpqua River since 1987 under a special use permit

We use only state of the art equipment and supply you with everything you'll need to stay safe, warm, and happy. We provide all the equipment you'll need except for personal items such as sun screen, sun glasses with keepers, a hat, a heavy wool or poly sweater (not cotton), a full water bottle, and sandals, wet shoes or tennis shoes you can get wet. We do have a small supply of all these things in case you forget. At the minimum bring a swimming suit or something you'd be comfortable in getting wet. Wet suits, paddling jackets, and helmets are often required, and we will provide these when necessary.
Reservations:
We
suggest early reservations to assure space on the trip of your choice, but
walk-ins are welcome on a space-available basis. Visa, Master card or American
Express will secure your preferred trip date
authorization of charge for deposit is acknowledgment of our cancellation policy.
Group discounts for 10 or more are available. Reservations canceled less then 14
days prior to trip date will receive a rain check. Our
recommended minimum age for children is six. We reserve the right to cancel
trips due to extreme weather conditions, in which case full refunds will be
given.

We will meet at the take out (usually Susan
Creek Recreation Site or Gravel Bin) and shuttle to the put in. (See map
below). The Susan Creek Recreation Site is about 45 minutes, and Gravel
Bin is about 1 hour from Roseburg. Other trip options are available
within the Roseburg area. Call for details.
